Welcome to RWCSL - the Racewalkers’ Club of St. Louis, USATF #22-0136.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of fast walking. Our group is for novices who are interested in learning faster walking techniques and veterans who already walk competitively. We welcome newcomers, speed walkers, power walkers and racewalkers.
Racewalking is an Olympic sport which produces a high level of cardiovascular fitness with less risk of injury than other aerobic sports such as running, aerobics and tennis. If you want to benefit from techniques to increase your speed and heart rate, exercise more muscles than running, and provide weight bearing benefits that are easier on your joints than running, come walk with us! Fast, fun, and fitness-focused — there’s a place for you here.

Virginia Reba “Ginger” Mulanax passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, while sleeping peacefully at Oak Knoll Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on January 20, 1944, in Parsons, Kansas, the daughter of Virgil and Thorine (Oaks) Pryor.
Ginger became a certified USA Track & Field official, focusing her energies towards racewalking and eventually gaining the experience and seniority to work the United States Track & Field Olympic Trials. As an important part of the racewalking and local track & field communities, she was a past President of the Ozark Association, building it into one of the top associations in the country. For her hard work, Ozark continually won national recognition within USATF as well as being awarded National meets: National Junior Olympic Cross Country, Open and Masters Cross Country, multiple USATF Juniors (U20), and multiple years of D2 and NAIA Outdoor Nationals. In our Association she ran the Missouri Milers Track Club, founded and organized the Racewalkers’ Club of St. Louis and the Ozark Officials. She was president of the Racewalkers’ Club of St. Louis for many years.
In addition, Ginger was a long time member of the USA Track & Field Racewalking Executive Committee. Her hard work, upbeat attitude, and expertise gained her many friends around the country. She will be greatly missed.
